Refurbished BioMerieux Vitek 32 microbial identification/susceptibility system. (Reader/Incubator, Filler/Sealer and CC4 available) The Vitek 32 analyzer automatically identifies the genus species of the bacterial present and the antibiotic sensitivity testing at the same time.
A primary source instrument for microbial identification, this instrument is a must have for any QC analytical laboratory involved in pharmaceutical development or manufacturing. Provides a cost effective primary ID analysis for all those environmental monitoring and cleaning validation studies.
The Bio Merieux Vitek Series corresponds perfectly to current bacteriological constraints, both in the clinical field and in industrial quality controls: automation provides more safety and eliminates repetitive manual operations, and the response time means that results can be provided more quickly than with manual techniques. The Vitek Series automates all the steps needed to perform identification Gram Negative and Gram Positive tests, using Vitek Cards. The filler/sealer enables inoculation of cards within a few minutes. The incubator/reader simultaneously incubates and reads the cards, and has a capacity of between 32 and 480 cards depending on the model. The optional computer software continuously monitors the operations under way, stores values, processes and interprets results.
